Time to prepare: 15 minutes<br />
Difficulty: Easy</p>

<p><strong>Ingredients</strong><br />
1/2 cup butter or margarine<br />
1 cup sugar<br />
3 eggs<br />
1 cup all-purpose flour<br />
3/4 cup canned chocolate-flavored syrup<br />
1 tsp. vanilla extract<br />
1 cup chopped walnuts or other nuts</p>
<p><strong>Directions</strong></p>
<p>Cream together butter, sugar and eggs until well blended.</p>
<p>Stir in flour, chocolate syrup, vanilla and nuts. Turn into greased and floured 9-inch square pan.</p>
<p>Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until tester inserted near center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into 16 squares. Remove from pan and store airtight.</p>

<p>4 pc eggs<br />
1 cup white sugar<br />
1/2 tsp salt<br />
2 cup rice flour<br />
melted margarine<br />

grated coconut</p>
<p>For topping: 1/4 c coconut cream (first extraction, no water)<br />
1/4 cup white sugar</p>
<p><strong>Procedure</strong></p>
<p>1. Beat eggs in a mixing bowl and add sugar.<br />
2. Combine salt and flour then add to egg mixture.<br />
3. Add melted margarine and baking powder to the flour mixture and blend well.<br />
4. Pour into banana leaf-lined mold.<br />
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 375 degrees F (or, in a traditional clay oven heated with live coal above and underneath.)<br />
6. Brush top with coconut cream and sugar and bake until golden crust is formed.<br />
7. Serve warm with grated coconut. </p>

1-1/2 cups corn oil for deep frying</p>
<p><strong>Procedure</strong></p>
<p>Peel sweet potatoes and cut into thin strips.</p>
<p>Add sugar and flour to water and stir well.</p>
<p>Add sweet potatoes to sugar and flour mixture and mix with a wooden spoon until well-coated.</p>
<p>Heat oil in a frying pan.</p>
<p>Scoop about 3 tablespoons of the mixture into a shallow saucer.</p>
<p>Flatten with the back of a spoon and slip into hot oil.</p>
<p>Fry until golden brown</p>

<p><strong>Ingredients:</strong></p>
<p>3 egg white<br />
1/2 cup sugar<br />
1 cup plain flour ( sifted )<br />
200g almond</p>
<p><strong>Procedure:</strong></p>
<p>1. Beat egg whites with sugar till it peaks</p>
<p>2. Add flour &#038; almond. Mix well.</p>
<p>3. Pour into tin. Bake at 150 C till firm ( 10-15 min.)</p>
<p>4. Keep overnight; wrap in foil. Refrigerate.</p>
<p>5. Cut with serrated knife.</p>
<p>6. Bake at 130 C (10-15 min.) til crisp.</p>
